The street art along Back Creek Art trail has been vandalised, unfortunately the vandals were unable to make any improvements and should probably practise their tags in private before bringing them into public spaces.
In collaboration with Bike Bendigo, Nacho Station hope to paint the 3 cycling underpasses that make this cycling trail so special to the community and create what will soon be known as Spring Spring Creative Ride.
This is the first chalkboard we have done that wraps around a 360 degree canvas. This unique surface presented us with an idea, to create a disjointed artwork that only revealed the whole story once you see all of the surfaces.
Nacho Station teamed up with Learn with Vern, Bendigo Community Health, Headspace Bendigo and 3 public schools in Bendigo to run a series of graffiti workshops that use graffiti and street art as a means of connecting with participants about mental health and wellbeing.
The Bendigo Creek was once a place of crystal clear watering holes where platypus would frolic without a worry. Now it's a concrete jungle, built to drain the toxic sludge created by a gold washing technique called 'puddling'.
