Workshop
We will hold 2 artist workshops for the commissioned artists, these ‘creative catch up’s’ will be used to brainstorm what our Open Air Exhibition will be all about, after all, the thought bubbles of many can lead to some amazing outcomes.
High profile artists will be expected to attend at least 1 of the 2 workshops.

Your Canvas
The canvas is made up of plywood boards; they are spread throughout the laneway on a metal structure. The boards will be available to pick up as soon as artists are selected, we will set out a delivery run for those who cannot collect the boards. Boards will be allocated based on artist commission.

The space
Pennyweight Walk is an Open Air Gallery filled with 2D artworks that are displayed on large plywood boards. The Open Air Gallery is located between Mitchell Street and Edwards Street linking Hargreaves Street and Bath Lane. This location attracts a broad range of visitors, including tourist, art students and study groups with an interest in the City’s growing street art culture.

HIGH PROFILE
X3 commissions
@ $2500
Are you well known for your artwork, have experience painting murals, perhaps you’ve got a strong online following or recognised by the broader creative community? You MUST reside in Victoria.
Artist Criteria
- Must be available to attend one artist workshop
Workshop 1 - Wednesday 5th Sep (Afternoon, time TBC)
Workshop 2 - Wednesday 12th Sep (Afternoon, time TBC) - Nacho Station will assist with travel and accommodation costs if required
- Artists will use their commission amount to purchase preferred materials.

LOCAL & ACTIVE
X5 commissions
@ $900
Are you keen to collaborate and work with other local artists to develop a thematic work? Some experience painting murals will be preferred but not essential. You MUST reside in Bendigo, or another Central Victorian Township.
