Inspired by the global lockdown, nine lettering artists from around the world connect to produce a dynamic and fun typography collaboration.
When Kate Pullen put out the call to get involved in a global community based project we jumped straight on board, as did Monique Aimee and Kiel Tillman. The idea was to unite amid a global pandemic, to take advantage of lockdown and make something creative that would extend our creative networks.
Once the plan was on digital paper we sent out invites to other lettering artists we were connected to. With another **Sigh… Zoom catchup, an ad-hock team of 12 amazing typographers were underway in creating their own unique CONNECTED typography pieces.
The CONNECTED lettering designs started popping into our inboxes and we were excited, while each design looked amazing on it’s own we still had no idea how it would all come together. Our friends at Hebron Films were the ones to receive the video files and they did an amazing job at decoding and re-ordering 9 self shot videos into a short and entertaining video.
